What buyers are saying
2 stars for cuteness but thats all. Not hateful but needs a lot of improvements. First off, the instructions are in neon pink background that makes it hard to read with the small print. It says for young children 5-7 may need help but 9-11 should be fine. This is wrong. It was a Xmas gift for my 6 year old. My 9 year old struggled and GOTR it 3/4 way done with help by Grandma. But it wouldnt stay together. So I stepped in (45 minutes later) and took it back apart and restarted. There are 2 V shaped pieces that you attach to the body that have pegs the back legs slip onto. The pegs are not long enough so they dont come all the way up through the whole they fit into causing the legs to fall off. The V shaped pieces also sit on little pegs that are a bit short as well. If you can get the outside body pieces on while holding the tail in place and squeeze all the way around the body so it snaps together, the back legs might stay on and the V shaped pieces stay in place. Then you have to snap the head together and you really have to squeeze around the entire head to snap it together so it doesnt fall off. Then the ears are really heavy making the bunny too heavy. They recommend spreading the ears out in the widest V for the bunny to work properly. Basically if you can get it together and stay together, touch the carrot to its nose and itll kind of hop 3-4x or stand up on its back legs. Thats all it does. It will sit somewhere and not get played with, I guarantee that. Its cute, but not worth the money. Also beware of the screw thats holds the batteries in. I used a screwdriver made for eyeglasses as you need one that small and the screw isnt made of such a soft metal it strips out. And when I out the batteries in, the screw wouldnt screw all the way back-the batteries are too big for the compartment-and their standard AAs. Had it not been a Santa gift I would have boxed it back up and returned.
