What buyers are saying
Chutes/Snakes and Ladders is a classic game for teaching young kids numbers up to 100, and basic game-play (taking turns, dealing with bad luck, etc. etc.). Snakes and ladders wasn't in stock so I bought this game instead. Can't go wrong with it... right? Well the board is so cluttered with cartoons it's hard to see the squares. Worse, the squares are just different shades of green, with no black borders so they would be a little hard to see even without cartoons. I drew back lines on it myself with a thin permanent marker and it is way better now. For young kids playing their first board game, its very confusing.Once our Xmas bills are paid, I will still be buying Snakes and Ladders to replace this. Also good to know is that it comes with spinner instead of a dice. The spinner works better for little hands, but kids do need to learn dice eventually.
